Ssr Buccaneer Top Speed
UDPATE: Here's my review!
This week I'll be trying out the current lineup from Benelli motorcycles – if you read that post you'll know that Benelli's US importer is SSR Motorsports, and they've got their own bikes to sell you. Next week I'll get a taste of their Buccaneer Cafe and Buccaneer Classic, two 250cc v-twin powered machines that SSR calls "authentic back to the basics retro motorcycles". What do you want to know abut them?
Per SSR, "riding a Buccaneer is like stepping back in time to a bygone era. It's got all the retro motorcycle boxes ticked; sub 300 lb weight, just the right amount of good vibrations from its non-balance shafted engine, high revving small bore V-twin sound, your choice of retro naked or retro café racer looks."

Just like the Royal Enfield Himalayan I recently reviewed, the big thing here is price. The Cafe is just $3,499, while the Classic (which I prefer from a styling standpoint) is $3,599. A Grom (without ABS) is $3,399 – it's a great bike but California won't allow it on freeways because it doesn't meet the minimum displacement of 175cc. $100 more gets you the Buccaneer Cafe, with double the displacement and power. You wouldn't be able to cruise in the fast lane, but at least you'd be able to hop on the freeway to get where you need to go.

You know the drill – if there's anything specific you want to know, let me know in the comments and I'll do my best to answer them in my review!
